Step One Greetings. T: Good morning, class . How are you ? Ss : I’m fine , thanks . How are you ? T: I’m Ok . Today is Teachers’ Day , let’s greet teachers . Ss: Happy Teachers’ Day ! Step Two Presentation Say to the students ,〝 I have seven things , what are they ?〞 Play slide show , ask students to look at it carefully, then ask and answer a question 〝 What’s this in English ?〝 It’s a map .〞Teach the new word and write it on the Bb Do the same thing with ruler jacket orange key quilt pen. Ask Ss to read these words after me three times Ss read new words together . Ask some students to read new words . Step Three Listening ( 1 a ) Listen to the tape and repeat . Step Four (1b ) Look at the picture in 1b . Find the letters they know . Check the answers . Step Five (1c ) Show Ss the pictures one by one .
